ReplyDeleteI wish you would have seen my old yard. We had all kinds of nifty weeds I've been unable to identify. But I agree, if you can find a useful weed that grows well here, might as well take advantage of nature.
One we had that I do know is what we call Lemon Balm. It's related to mint but has a citronella scent the mosquitos hate. So we'd rub a little on our arms and legs before our evening walks and avoid nasty bites. I'll miss that and the wild strawberries most :-)
